Hazy yellow pour from bottle with ample head and retention. Grassy aroma. Hoppy taste, slightly bitter. Drinkable. Good example of the class.

Crystal clear, pale golden color, frothy high head. Aroma earthy, lots of carbon dioxide. Palate medium to low, high carbonation. Taste is unbalanced : sweetish but plain malty backbone totally mismatched with bitter and astringent hops in finish. No herbal notes or spiciness as they should be in bohemian lager. I suspect they switched to hop extract. Tastes like medicines, used to be a lot better once :(

500ml draught. A likely bohemian pilsner with a malty start and a dominant hoppy long-lasting gulp. Low Co2 but quite good foam. Its colour is medium yellow, body also.

On tap. Clear golden colour with big foamy medium lasting white head. Aroma: grassy, hay, yeasty. Taste: Good ol’ pilsner. A short malty sweet start than a medium pleasent bitter hoppy moutfeel. A bit creamy texture. Light/medium body with average carbonation. Long dry and bitter finish.

Bottle from local Yamaya store. Big Czech hop nose, some grain, bread, and quite malty. Clear deep amber/orange color, thin filmy head. Sweetish initial flavor, with grain, grass, some mid palate hop tanginess, and a gentle but definite bitter finish. Thin-medium body, gentle carbonation. Strong Czech character in this one.

Aus der grünen Originalflasche im Regiojet getrunken. Leider nur aus dem Pappbecher, deswegen keine Aussage zur Farbe. Im Geschmack aber eines der besseren böhmischen Lagerbiere.

Taster at Taphouse. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear yellow golden body. Weak sweet flowery malt aroma. Mild and yet pretty hoppy flavor with a low carbonation and a short finish. Nice.

Good, tight, lightly yellowish head over orangey-golden beer, medium carbonation. Very warm grainy nose, slightly herbal. Serious maltcontent, pale & (lightly) toasted; breakfast cereals, if never getting sweet, always balanced by good hops; even gaining a slightly metallic finish. Light to medium bodied, gristslick, medium carbonation. Not without merit, but certainly not great. Ďakujem, Peter!

Bottle. As Bernard Bohemian Lager. 4.9%. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of bready and grainy malt, hay, grassy hops. Flavor starts with some sweetish malt, bready and grainy, and continues with crisp bitterish grassy hops. Medium-bodied. A pleasant Bohemian Pilsener.
