MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, malty, some fudge, banana. Aftertaste: bit yeasty, sweet touch, banana, some vanilla, soft bitterness.

Look; huge off white foam and hazy gold golden body. Aroma; meadow spices, leafy hops, solid malts. Taste; solid blend of hops and malts, spices, roasted malts here and where, bread, faint note of bitter butterscotch. Normal carbonation and body. Finishes with roasted malts, apple peel, spices and hops. Really alright, really Bernard, and salute to Uncle Paya. Always remember visiting Uncle Paya when being in Plzen CZ. Tap. Sheffield Tap. As Bernard Unfiltered. Gingery gold, with a light haze. Thick, bubbly, lasting, off white head. Spicy hop, and grainy malt, in equal measure. Light pepper. A bit grassy. Taste is light, spicy bitter. Crisp palate. Fairly soft carbation, but it matches the beer well. Finishes with more of the spicy bitterness. Nice one.

500 ml bottle @ Prague, originally rated 2015-04-21
Slightly hazy golden orange beer with white head dissolving quickly. Aroma, flavor and aftertaste have sweet malts, yeast, fruits and cardboard. Palate is quite thin with strong carbonation and feel of bitterness. Finish has quite strong bitterness. Rich taste but sadly probably not as fresh as it should be.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at Hostinec U Kocoura Day 1 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 29/09/14. Hazed golden coloured pour with a big lasting frothy white head. Aroma is nice and feresh grainy cereal, spicy nobel hops, some crisp yeast on the nose as well. Just a hint of citrus on the nose as well. Flavour is grainy pils grains, yeast, firm assertive nobel hop bitterness. Little yeast bite in the finish. Palate is very easy going, highish carbonation, semi-dry in the finish. Very sessionable.
