Old rating found in a bag... Clear golden with a large, white head. Bready, malty aroma with mashy notes. Medium bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel with dough-like maltiness in the flavour. Dusty hops.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with slight haze and pours with no head. It has a sweet toffee and grassy flavour with malty notes and a bitter woody finish.

Tap. Sheffield Tap. As Bernard Unfiltered. Gingery gold, with a light haze. Thick, bubbly, lasting, off white head. Spicy hop, and grainy malt, in equal measure. Light pepper. A bit grassy. Taste is light, spicy bitter. Crisp palate. Fairly soft carbation, but it matches the beer well. Finishes with more of the spicy bitterness. Nice one.

500 ml bottle @ Prague, originally rated 2015-04-21
Slightly hazy golden orange beer with white head dissolving quickly. Aroma, flavor and aftertaste have sweet malts, yeast, fruits and cardboard. Palate is quite thin with strong carbonation and feel of bitterness. Finish has quite strong bitterness. Rich taste but sadly probably not as fresh as it should be.

Clear golden pour with a fine white head. Good lacing. Mild herbal, grainy and malty aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Mild malty, grainy and herbal flavor. Ok easy drinkable pils.

Keg at Hostinec U Kocoura Day 1 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 29/09/14. Hazed golden coloured pour with a big lasting frothy white head. Aroma is nice and feresh grainy cereal, spicy nobel hops, some crisp yeast on the nose as well. Just a hint of citrus on the nose as well. Flavour is grainy pils grains, yeast, firm assertive nobel hop bitterness. Little yeast bite in the finish. Palate is very easy going, highish carbonation, semi-dry in the finish. Very sessionable.

Wyraźny, słodki aromat. Piana szybko opada i znika. Kolor złoty. W smaku mocno goryczkowe. Słabo musuje. Bardzo przyzwoite piwo :)

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2014 On tap at Bernardpub. Nice lancing. Full body malty taste with yeasty hints. Very clear and balanced Bohemian style lager.

Malts, grass and some earthy notes in the aroma. Clear golden with a white head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Light to medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a nice lager beer, but a bit boring for me.

Rich and fruity aroma with a lot of malty sweetness, unfortunately somewhat unpleasant. Special taste with a lot more complexity than regular pilseners - a malt rich in taste with hints of prunes and caramel is followed by an angry hop bitterness which burns for a long time with associations to meadowfoam, grilled broccoli and chives. Slightly too schizophrenic to become a regular thing, but interesting.
