Quack-Duck (2202), Bodensee, Germany May 23, 2007 This special lager is not regularly brewed. The one I tasted was an Easter special, but they brew it at other occasions as well. Long-lasting head, great golden colour, nearly orange. Although quite malty you can taste the hops very well, especially the aftertaste is dominated by great citrusy hop flavours. One of the best beers I’ve ever tried.

Aroma of honey and hops. Frothy top with big bubbles above cloudy gold-yellow. Quite bitter with fresh hops accents--otherwise boring. Light body that’s too low for style, medium carbonation, bitter finish. KimJohansen (5208), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 Clear golden with medium white short lasting head. Sweet fruity aroma with floral and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with orange, yeast and caramel notes. Ends sweet. ChristianScheffel (2331), Odense, Denmark Aug 11, 2008 Plastic bottle. Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is grainy and bready malt. Dry malty flavour with a fruity note, decent hop flavour and bitter finish. DSG (1020), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (6/26/08) Draught at the brewpub in Beroun. Hazy reddish-amber with a beige head. Aroma of malt, some toastiness and a bit of caramel. Sweetish malty flavor with some soft bitterness later. Medium-bodied. Nice. Theis (2553), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 7, 2008 Bottle on bus - RBESG. Cloudy yellow - white head. Peppery, straw, hay, spicy, honey, wierd, unclean, light infection, vegetables.
