From the barrel at Great British Beer Festival, day 3 on 6 August 2009. Gold colour. Plenty of fruit on the nose. Dry and tannic on the palate. Good whisky cask character - assertive but not too prominent. Very enjoyable.

Pretty shit. Acetone, light wood and a mellow finish. Most like vanilla yoghurt.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 06/08/2009 Big fruit aroma. Golden coloured and slightly hazy in appearance. Smooth on the palate with a crisp and dry lasting whisky finish.

A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF.
Cleanish pale gold colour. A big fruity hit. Some cinnamon, a bit of nail polish and some beautiful fresh apples. So clean, just a hint of whisky but the oak comes through really well. Dry as hell initially but some big juicy apples rush in behind. A superb cider.
