This super dry apple ale is a colabeeration with Two Rivers Cider Company. It is 60/40...60 fermented with apple, 40 fermented with pilsner malt, and a light hopping, just enough to round it out.

Tap at the brewery tasting room. Pours "perry" with a creamy white head. Light apple aroma. Near med body. Flavor is apple with a touch of malt and a little grassy hop. Interesting.

On tap at the brewery. I really wanted to add this as a cider, because I think it is much much more cider like than beer-like. But, it does apparently have hops added, and it’s technically illegal for this to be a cider. The aroma has apples present, but there is also a light funky bubblegum ester character, too. Slightly hazy straw-yellow body with a small, quickly dissipating white head present. Starts with a crisp, light tart apple cider like flavor. Becomes a little sweet, and chewy in the middle. Finishes with a little breadiness as well as some linger apple tartness. An interesting hybrid, but not something I’m crazy about.
