Fatehunter (1816) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - MAY 13, 2014
Pours a thin head on a hazy straw colored body. The aroma is a mild and faint grain smell. The taste has a nice honey sweetness with some mild bitterness to balance it out. The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Consumed at the Eat Real Festival in Oakland. It pours yellow with a thick white head. The aroma has dusty yeast, pepper and light tangerine. The flavor is dry, spicy and light notes of orange. The finish is a bit chalky with a lot of spice. Decent.

On tap at Church Key, SF. This one is a pale, hazy orange shade with a finger’s worth of white head. Decent citrussy tones with yeasty spice. Refreshing but lacks the complexity that would take it into a higher tier.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark gold with a slight white head. Aroma of light earth and light pitted fruits. There’s a touch of citrus, light Belgian yeast - with a hint of banana ester. Mildly earthy and fruity finish. Drinks nicely.
