Commercial Description:
A Hefeweizen brewed in the American style with a refreshing kick. This easy drinking Hef is a lighter style American Hef with an added touch, the touch of orange. Carefully blended a hint of orange with an American Hefeweizen to produce this light easy drinking ale, perfect match for when you looking for something to satisfy your palate without being overly sweet or overbearing.

The hint of orange is not unpleasant, but not enough to make me keep buying this beer, either.

Had this beer on 8/11/2004. Aroma is not that impressive, with only a faint citrus scent. Color is a hazy bright gold with very good carbonation and a thin little head. Taste is light and clean. Starting with a light body it goes down with a fizzy feel. Finish comes in with a very light malt flavor backed by a faint citrus taste and ends with a little bitter bite. Overall it’s just not a Hefey. It is a refreshing summer brew but it lacks flavor, there is almost no mandarin and none of that rich sweet, yeasty flavor in a good Hefey.

12 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - Pours a hazy golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is light wheat malt and citrus. Flavor is lightly sweetened malt with a tad bit of orange. Light body. A decent beer. Thanks Richard.

hazy dark yellow, whispy fine white head, light sweet orange aroma, light malt flavor with lots of orange sweetness like an oranqe soda, touch of bitterness in the finish

orange dries out after a while loosing some of the sweetness but keeping the orange flavor, an improvment, but still weird

it was’nt a bad beer. description says it all. orangey and not overbearing. sweetish i used to get it cheap from the defunct shop rite in leonia nj. they had some great micro brews. the beer had moderate carbonation and really was not too wheaty in consistancy.
