COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Born to create a fine lager: When your name is Berthold ’Beer’ Keller, it seems inevitable that you become a master brewer. Berthold was born in Bavaria and brought up in Belgium. He has a truly continental approach to brewing. Fusing styles he created this premium crisp, smooth lager with a rounded continental finish.

Very mild watery lager beer. Not as bad as some reviewers are claiming in that it is not unpleasant or hard to drink and even if it is mostly tasteless that is still better than a lot of macro style bland lagers.

Pale straw colour. Very light herbal aroma. Lightly grassy with a little bit of wet cardboard flavour. Very light and drinks like a tropical lager.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is chalk. I’ve never had that in a beer before, but I have no better word to describe it. Flavor is medium sweet with no bitterness. Watery and thin. Finishes sweet as well. Crappy lager. How is this a premium lager? It certainly doesn’t fit the describtion on this site. 030311

It’s warm golden with a creamy, shite head. The aroma is maild, almost watery with notes of malt. The flavour is moderately sweet and as watery as the aroma with notes of malt, straw, metal, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.

Premium, I THINK NOT. I took 3 sips, got so angry I bought this crap, and tried to look online to see what garbage ingredients are used as there are none on the can, and none found online either. Guessing a ton of corn sugar is used. Cheapest laker or lakeport beer in Canada tastes better, and those are garbage beers too. This has a terrible white chalk taste that lingers in your cheeks and tongue. DO NOT wASTE YOUR MONEY, I want a refund, even though I bought just one can. The forst thing that ran through my head when i took a sip was "how could the LCBO import such crap"

Belgian lager... two words that do not sound good together. Especially when the word "premium" is in front of lager. Not a good start. Even the can does not make it seem like a "killer" brew from Belgium. Pours a golden colour with a foamy white head that is big, has pretty good retention and creates a bit of lace. Smells like grain malt for a few seconds and then, chemical plastics and gross hay. Then, if you let it sit a bit, and calms down, and goes to a more normal hoppy-malt combination. Lightly carbonated (small bubbles) with some big bubble sitting at the bottom of the glass (waiting to come up when the glass is touched). Flat and sticky mouthfeel. Plain grain, corn and alcohol in the taste. Not refreshing like Euro swills, and not crisp like American lagers.

500ml can from corner shop on way home from work. Mid gold, thin near white head. It’s a half decent premium lager thing. Bit stale on the aroma. But there is some sweetish lemon. But its just a bit bland. But ok.
