Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Sep 6, 2006 Bottle. Cloudy amber colour with a little head. Sour aroma of caramel and acidity. Sweet and sour flavour. Light soft sour and vinous finish.
MiP (6732), Flensburg, Germany Nov 1, 2008 Bottle, 6.5%. Weak cardboardy cherry. Clear brown colour. Sweet flavour, starts off with cherry notes, turns very sweet. Tastes like a slightly citric kriek. Seems a bit oxidized, but I guess it is OK. joergen (6951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 21, 2006 Bottle.
Cloudy orange coloured with a white head.
Aroma of malts, caramel and chewing gum with light acidic notes.
Flavour of malts, caramel and fruits with light acidic notes. Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 17, 2006 A hazy amber beer with a light brown head. The aroma is slightly acidic with primary notes of berries, but also hints of wet wood. The flavor is sweet and very fruity with a slight acidic edge, and hints of wood. As Papsų notes this is like a Flemish Sour light rather than a Dubbel. Thanks Papsų for this beer. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 17, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, dark amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with a weak tartness. Medium-bodied, sweetish with some lightly vinous accents. Not much bitterness. Not a typical Brune - more sort of a Flemish Sour light. 160806
