COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Okay you hopheads, we heard your (many) requests for a really hoppy beer. We didn’t hold back with the American hops – Simcoe, Cascade, Amarillo, etc. approx. 7%abv

Tap at Earth Bread + Brewery. Deep copper colour with a thick pillowy head. Aroma is lightly citrusy with a bit of orange and lemon balm. Softly sweet with a musty dankness and a bit of honeyed sweetness. The hops are a little bit soapy/cheesey and there is also a bit of acidity toward the finish. Kind of a mixed bag that doesn’t really work for me.

Tap. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is burnt/toasted weed and hops earthy and grassy notes and medium caramel malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, supporting malt, fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

Tasted this on tap at the Selinsgrove Beer & Wine Festival Pours an orange yellow almost effervescent color. With smooth fruity hops, not harsh.

Draft at the Brewery with Andrew, PJ, and Brendan. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber with nice creamy white head. Aroma is tangerine, citrus and hops - if I had to guess Simcoe and Citra. Mouthfeel is very creamy with fruity notes as well. Slightly restrained - but in turn incredibly sessionable.

On tap at Berwick Brewery - on beerquest 2.5 w/ Andy James and PJ. Their best beer I’ve had. Milky and creamy. Close to perfect IBU. Could be more aggressive but great within the style - clearly brewed very carefully.

On tap at the brewery as party of beerquest 2.5. Juicy simcoe hops... Fresh and tangerines notes. Surprisingly balanced for 7% and extremely fluffy and smooth.

This one was a real surprise since lagers seem to be the specialty here. Pours with an inch head and leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma has this wonderful hoppiness as does the taste but it’s not overwhelming obnoxious hoppiness. The taste lingers for a long time after you drink it. Fantastic!

In short: A soft refreshing blonde ale with smooth fruity hops. Too soft for an IPA but a good thirst quencher nonetheless
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy dark blonde body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nose of fruit salad and grapefruit. Taste has bready malts, honey, some grapefruits, some white grapes, some pineapples. A bit of grapefruits at the very end and a little dryness. Carbonation was a bit too soft, less carbonated than all other beers I’ve had there, probably something with this particular batch. The beer is far from intense and the bitterness is rather soft. Very soft. Overall it felt more like a fruity hoppy golden ale than a true American IPA. Refreshing and enjoyable for what it is. The Atomic Punk is the smallest useless particle known to man. It is made of a not-positive nucleus surrounded by very negative electrons. It is very unstable yet it rarely releases energy, and never before noon.

Mini-keg, thanks kramer. Medium off-white head with hazy light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, pineapple/grapefruit, some caramel, light bread. Taste is moderately sweet, pineapple/grapefruit, light bread. Light-medium body, light resin.

Ancient backlog, I think it was still One Guy back then! Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, lovely leafy hops on a sesame-crackery malt base. Flavor lots of pulpy citrus, very bright and juicy, strong bitterness with solid bready malt. Rather carbonated when served but otherwise top notch.

Draft @ Earth Bread & Brewery. Citrus, C-Hop medium body IPA, make a flavorful session beer. Gleeful to drink a Brewick beer and an IPA named after my favorite Van Halen song.
