Draft at the Brewery with Andrew, PJ, and Brendan. Pours a clear gold with light lacing. Aroma is bland German lager notes. Mouthfeel is thin - tastes similar to Yinzer but with a weird aftertaste of burnt lemons and corn.

On tap at Berwick Brewery w/ Andy James and PJ. Light spice, little aroma - not a lot to this beer. Pretty forgettable overall but not offensive in any way.

Pours somewhat hazy gold with medium white head. Aroma is citrus and cereal. Taste bready and sweet. Not very complex and felt incomplete.

Pours golden with a thinnish head. Aroma with faint hints of cut grass. Rich, thick mouthfeel. Very dry on the tongue. Clean finish. Not my favorite style but not bad

In short: A very nice session blonde lager. Refreshing, nourishing, very clean, well hopped
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose of cereals and fresh grass. Taste is full cereals with bready character, refreshing fruity notes of fruit salad, also some banana cake, nice hopping with a floral and fresh grass signature. True lager character comes true (that’s when I get this fun egg-white thing, only me). This is an extra-clean and extra-refreshing brew that is also quite nourishing. This is a very well made session lager like we need more in North-America. Beer geek or beer neophyte, this is a beer that will please anybody and everybody. And I am anybody and everybody. I am just “a guy” and every time I walk into a bar I always wonder if I am in a joke.

Sampled on draft at Zeno’s in State College PA this beer poured a medium golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and produced some lacing. The aroma was dryish malts with light fruity hops and spice. The flavor was dry, bitter and somewhat tart with a moderate chewy bready element, light crisp fruity hops and a touch of banana. The finish was long, dry and bready. Medium body. Nice.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Light pale malty aroma with hints of floral hops. The flavor is clean and direct, with pale malts, a light sweetness, and light floral hoppy notes. Nice.

Growler, from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold body with a nice foamy white head with decent retention. The nose is nice bready malt and yeast with just a touch of floral hops. A bit of tropical fruits as well. Nice bready pils malt with zero clingy doughiness, very soft subtle yeastiness. This just tastes really well rounded. Light floral hops give the finish a bit of a snap. Nice and soft feel with perfect light carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean. Really nice beer, a favorite among Kellerbiers, and the best effort from the brewery as a whole that I’ve had.
