BoBoChamp (865), Gent, Belgium Dec 31, 2008 25cl, from De Bierloods Adegem, not complex brew, balanced, cloudy, small head, simpel brew JorisPPattyn (4691), Antwerpen, Belgium Dec 29, 2008 God knows what this one is a labelversion of… Huge, yellowish head, leaving lacerings, whilst being fed by lively carbonaton from hazed golden beer with a greenish shine. Vegetable and pickles aroma, starfruit, citrus and too wet malts. Fruity, estery, but also oxydized malts. Sweet-sourish. Fruitaroma somehow like artificial strawberry aroma, but soured. Whiffs of vegetable frying oil. Rather uneasy equilibrium. Certain smooth MF, despite the spritzy carbonation. Strange beer, with weird connotations. If it’s an infection, it’s a benign one. If this is supposed to be as such, than it is a forced thing. Jerre (1464), Waregem, Belgium Dec 27, 2008 Bottle, 25 cl.
Thx to vacas (bierloods)
Hazy golden color, with a off-white head. Aroma malts, fruits touch.
Medium body.
Taste bit sweet, fruity malts, little hopsbitterness.
Not bad.
fonefan (6125), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 6, 2008 Bottle. Clear light yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate yeasty, notes of toffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metallic. (130308) sayravai (3252), Helsinki, Finland Jul 20, 2007 (Bottled) Hazy golden with a smallish, lightly lacy head. Quite acidic, grainy-malty aroma with red currants. Currant-grainy-bisquity-malty flavor with metal and pineapple hints. Medium-bodied with a medium, slightly foamy carbonation. A very grainy-starchy and quite curranty brew – but not the most enjoyable one.
