Bottle, Milletts Farm Shop, Oxon 28-05-08 Golden pour with white head. Nice earthy hops on the nose, very fresh smelling beer! Light fruit in mouth but with a great hoppy bitterness, some streaks of honey finish this off marvellously. Careless pouring at the end turned this into a hazy gold light amber colour but nonetheless it still tasted excellent.

Cask conditioned at The King Alfreds Head, Wantage, Oxon. Gold with white head. Good deep malty body, fresh barley notes, quite drying on the palate leading to a bitter, grapefruity hop. The beer is thirst quenching and lasting making good use of English hops. A very decent start for this brand new brewery.

On gravity at the brewery, Ardington 30/7/2011. Deep amber with a decent, off-white head. Fruity arona with caramel and earthy malts. Flavour had some marmalade, redcurrant and bready malts, leading to a lengthy bitter finish. Enjoyable.

A Mes rate: Bottle at the Oi Oi Saveloy tasting at Chris O’s.
Hazy blonde, some floaters and a thin white head. Dusty hops that are a little on the tart side. A little overly malty and it puts it out of balance. I get the feeling either this bottle was slightly out of order or the bottle hadn’t traveled too well and the sediment had got mixed in with the rest of the beer.
