Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Brown to amber with white head. Fuller roasted bitter with sweetish malty notes. crisp with a fairly sharp cereal character, some standard British hop flavours, reasonable best Bitter.

500ml bottle. Clear dark amber to brown colour with small minimally lacing white head. Lackadaisical darker malt aroma, bread, maybe hazelnut, hard to detect. Nuttily taste, some dry hop in the last third. Forgettable.

Hazy orange-amber color; creamy head. Light manure aroma. Smooth flavor, but the malt is quite poor, the bitterness is just right, and there is again a light manure touch. Probably good on cask, not so much from the bottle.

Bottle 500ml. Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, smoke - plastic. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091124]

Bottle ... Picked this up from Bellingers, Jet Garage, (with Londis shop) THanks to Fin pointing me to this Garage ... copper ... light fruity nose ... quicky juicty tangy fruit ... reasonable hop pressence and low bitterness level ... very tasty fruityness.
