At Bierfestival Dijleschuimers. Pours rather clear blonde. Smell is bit sweet, grainy, some yeast with its typical fruityness. Fresh, for sure. Rather high carbo, and a decent MF.

Tap at In t’ Spinnekopke it sucks they no longer have draft lambics. Betchard blonde a cloudy milk honey gold. The nose is honeyed wheat cakes & orange marmalade. Quite dry with a bit of heat to it. The taste is wheat, orange/peaches and light spiciness. A solid blonde 3.5

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2015 Tasted at Heeren van Liedekercke in the Tubize version, but apparently first brewed at the ’Proef’brouwerij. Sticky, off-white, stable head, colour a dirty ochre blonde. Yeasty and bready aroma with green apple, orange zest, sweat, old cheese and - less appealing of all - clear H2S (rotten egg). Simple taste of restricted fruitiness, bready, light orange touch, bit powdery mouthfeel, finishing in a mild grassy hoppiness but not enough so to balance and therefore a bit watery. Totally unnecessary and even flawed beer, I hope they’ll come up with something better than this.

Overall mooi lekker correct bier.

Blonde légèrement trouble, effervescence moyenne, col fin peu persistant. Plutôt maltée d’entrée pour ensuite développer une bonne petite amertume un rien épicée. Agréable...

Draught at Little Delirium, Brussels. Yellow, hazy beer with a big offwhite head. Fruity and hoppy aroma and flavour. A refreshing nice beer :-)

Draught at Little Delirium, Brussels. Malty bready aroma, yeasty notes. Bready sourish flavor, some yeast. More like a lager, not much flavors at all. Kinda clean and drinkable, though.

1/VI/2012 - 33cl bottle as ’Betchard Tubize’ @ De Heeren van Liedekercke - BB: 14/II/14 (2012-567)

Note:According to Joost from DHVL this is from a small brewery in Tubize. Not sure though, since I can’t find anything about it online. So I’ll just enter it under this entry.
Clear blond beer, big solid creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty yeasty, grassy hops, spices, bit dry, dusty, citrus peel, slightly peppery. MF: soft carbon, light body. Taste: pretty fruity start, citrus fruits, peaches, little sweet, very fresh and fruity. Aftertaste: peaches, little bit of yeast, grassy bitterness, yet soft, some citrus.
