20080613 Tap at brewpub. Mild berry flavor and not much in the aroma. I guess that is appropriate for blueberries as they are not that potent when fresh. Bit of tartness and a touch milky. Amusing color is blue tinged from the fruit.

On tap. Lots of blueberry in the aroma. Yellow amber color. Low in flavor. Dryish. Easy to drink.

Cloudy light purple color with no head. Blueberry puree aroma-very sweet. Some carbonation. Tastes of blueberry puree with some malts. Could not drink a full pint of this.

Poured a murky purple amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of blueberries, vanilla, light citrus, and toasted dough. Taste was dry, toffee, bready, wheaty, and sweet blueberries throughout.

Draft from the brewpub. This is one ugly beer, almost a 1 rating but there was some head to it. Not sure why a blueberry beer pours a hazy orange with a pinkish hue but man was this ugly. Aroma of blueberry and malts. Flavor is like the aroma with the malts being more dominant and the blueberry makes it’s prescence known but isn’t overpowering. Drinkable beer and to quote an unnamed RB member "well it is the best blueberry I’ve ever had". Well after checking my ratings I am sorry to say I have to disagree with that.
