hunter112 (7), Nanuet, New York, USA does not count Mar 23, 2008 Fine hops flavor is what you get here, and this is the only one I took a growler of, being as the beer sampler had some nice brews, that’s saying something! jason (1517), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA May 31, 2008 Draft. Nice deep red body with thin head. Aroma was a very pleasant blend of grapefruit and hops. Flavor was lightly hoppy with a nice sweet malt taste and a very smooth body. Possibly the best Pale Ale I’ve ever had! egajdzis (3138), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 27, 2008 [Cask, double dry-hopped] Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus fruits, toffee, light toasty dough, and a bit of pine. Taste of citrus fruits, light pine, some sweeter toffee, and a moderately bitter finish. DocLock (4175), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 14, 2005 Thanks to by brother in law for getting me a grwoler of this. Pours slight hazy dark straw with a two-finger, creamy, off-white head. Great lace. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt, some black pepper, spiciness, and floral esters. Tastes very hoppy, with floral esters, black pepper, and a finishing semi-dry astringent hop resiny feel. I honestly thought this was an IPA before I sat down to rate it today. Regardless of what you call it, it is a fine beer. Is CH-47 a code for a hop variety or a hop-contained carbon-hydrogen bond or something? TomDecapolis (2629), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 13, 2008 On tap at BBW.
