COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light copper, dry finishing American Pale Ale is an excellent addition to the Brew Works fleet of pale ales. A hefty sling load weight of Chinook hops gives this beer its distinctive bite. Chinook and Amarillo hops contribute to its almost citrus aroma. A hopheads delight!

On cask for charity night at the Brew Works. A nice sparkling pale ale with a small head. A little bit cloudy from cask, served at cellar temp. Exceptionally smooth creamy palate. Refreshing hoppy character from this amazingly fresh cask beer. Excellent, I had two!

Nice creamy head, dark bronze-like color. Medium body. Aroma of hops and some citrus. Very hoppy taste. This beer tastes very similar to an IPA.

Great APA, very crisp & smooth & drinkable, amber to light copper in color, good white head, nice lacing around the glass, lots of hops in the nose, very well balanced, had a nice malt character to balance out the hops in the flavors, medium in body, slightly dry finish, spicy aftertaste

Draft... GBOA ’06... Clear yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. Earthy, fruity nose with apricot esters and notes of pine and wood. Earthy, well-balanced flavor with moderately bitter grapefruit rind and light residual sugar. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Finishes crisp, mildly bitter and grassy.

Draft at the brewpub. Well out of my six beer sampler, which was very reasonably priced for the size samples you get, this one was the best by far. Pours a mostly clear amber brown with an average size fluffy white head that lasted for quite sometime as my pint sat there and I finsihed off some other sample size beers. Aroma has lots of grapefruit and citrus with some biscuit notes from the malts. Palate is medium bodied with lively carbonation and a slightly dry finsih. Flavor of citrus rind that is rather bitter with some biscuit and toast. This beer is just slightly dry and comes off with a good touch of bitterness but still enjoyable none the less.

On tap at the Bethlehem location. Poured a medium amberish color with a medium sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, toasted malts, and pine. Tastes of citrus (more than the aromas), pine, and some caramel.

Tap at brewpub. Pours out a light copper color with a moderate creamy slightly off white head. Aroma of citrus hops and some slight malt sweetness. Taste is of some citrus hops, some sweet malts and a dry finish.

On tap at BBW, this might be the darkest pale ale I have ever seen. A cloudy bronze colored body, thin white head, and aroma of some citrus fruits and sweet hops lead into a flavor that is very much the same. I thought this has a ton of flavor for its class, and the body was around medium with a clean, crisp bite.

20080613 Tap at brewpub. Hoppy and astringent. Floral, light citrus, pretty bland. Eh, it is okay.

This was a decent pale ale typical of the style. I would drink this again.
