3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer had a malty tone to it and the finish was much more in tune to ESBs Iíve had in England as far as creaminess goes. But, Iím not too fond of the end product-I wish it was more flowery and packed in more of a punch. This one seems like a corp-beer alternative.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Another draught. Aroma of sweet malts. Arrived amber with creamy head. Flavor was more of the same, light sweet malts and light hops, couldíve used more. Palate was full and creamy. Overall ok there just was something I didnít quite like.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at the Bethlehem Brew Works. Served in a 5.5 oz. sample glass. Deep amber hue. Very smooth character, good balance between the malts and hops. The bitterness in the finish was quite soothing and paired well with the sweetness in the malts.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a medium amber and a thin white long lasting head. Low carbonation. Aroma is moslty malty with some crystal and toasted malts, backed up by a lot of earthy and slightly floral hops. Flavor is slightly fruity but is balanced with a lot of smooth delicate light crystal malts. Nice light hoppy finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very thin head. Nice dark amber/red color. Bitter taste at the end. Some spices noted at the beginning. Not like other ESBís Iíve had. A good beer, but this one was a little weak.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
08.03.05 Tap at brewpub. Caramel colored, thin beige head. Aroma is buttery cracker with apricot jam, which would be nice if this was a cracker with jam. Some crystal, lots of fuggles, lots of butter. Not good, and seemingly old...a definite theme with this brewery.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at State College 8th Annual Festival. Some rye aroma, light fruity malt with a bit of biscuit. Not much hops coming through in the bouquet. Medium amber clear liquid with white foamy head. Light bodied with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts dry with some mild malt flavor and carbonic tang. Nice bittering toward the end with dry light chalky finish. An average bitter.
