jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 5, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head with some lacing and copper color. Aroma is plenty of both medium hops-citrus and medium malt. Taste is plenty of both medium hops-citrus-pine-mild bitterness and medium malt-some sweetness-caramel. The bitterness at the finish increases through the beer. Good carbonation.
JB175 (1451), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 18, 2008 Golden color with a heavy citrus-floral hop aroma. Flavor is hop dominant with citrus, sugar, bready malts and some pine. Smooth and hoppy finish. Pretty good IPA. doubleipa (224), Georgia, USA Jun 26, 2008 Had this at the Harrisburg brewfest. Appearance - amber color with a mostly diminished head. Aroma - mostly pine and resin. Taste - bitter, dry and noit much hoppiness. Mouthfeel - dry. Ok as an IPA, ut not something I would go our of my way to drink or find. illinismitty (1493), Nashville, Tennessee, USA May 28, 2008 Draft at Allentown brewpub. Pours a red amber with an off white head. Nice grapefruity hop aroma. Flavor of pale malts with a toasty accent, countered by a citrusy yet bitey hoppiness. Dry finish has lingering grapefruit rind bitterness, along with a distracting astringency. alobar (725), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 10, 2008 Pours a nice copper color with a faint white head. Powerful aroma of hops with some malts. Taste is heavily bitter on the back end with some citrus-grapefruit, and sweet malts. Slow drinker, but well done. bigrond (895), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 19, 2007 the was a pretty good beer. Nice hop flavor - just like the expansive commerical description. I was impressed with this brew.
