DocLock (5966) - Lower Pottsgrove, USA - MAY 2, 2005
Dark straw color with aroma of hops, some malt, and some citrus and spice. Solid lupulin presence giving way to some alcohol and fruity florals. Not great, but pretty good.

Certainly not my favorite example of an IPA. Dark gold appearance, impression of malt and citrus hops ... what a surprise in an American IPA. A bit too much presence of alcohol in taste and finish, a bit too syruppy in the mouth.

Deep golden with a slight haze in color with a small white head. Aroma of mild floral hops and citrus. Assertive bitterness upfront and burns at the finish.
