Smells of dark fruit, bananas, cloves, spices, earthy malt, doughiness and chocolate. Tastes of chocolate, some bitter hoppy hints, spices, complimentary warming alcohol, tea and some coffee. Taste is molasses, dark fruit, acidic, boozy, medium malt, secondary hops. TomDecapolis (2346), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 31, 2007 At tap at the BBW as part of the sampler billed as the Quad Bock. Pours a lightly hazy darker amber with an average bubbly deep tan head. Aroma was very sweet malts, caramel, toffee, dark fruits, slight butterscotch and an overall fruitiness. Flavor was very sweet malts and fruity, light alcohol, dark fruits with an overall maltiness.
