2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JFURYCAT (1007) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2007
The nitro doesn’t really do it for me. I like the slight caramel malty tones and its an easy drinker but it doesn’t seem full enough to be an ale. Too thin for my likes. The overseas nitro beers seem fuller as this one lacked carbonation.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TomDecapolis (4007) - Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2007
On tap at the BBW as part of the sampler billed as the McGinty’s Irish Ale. Pours a translucent ruby red amber with a medium creamy tan lacing head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts and light hops. Flavor of caramel and more hop flavor than I would expect form this style. Kind of thin and this was served on nitro which I’m not a big fan of.

Listed as McGinty’s Irish ale/. Reddish color with a light malty aroma. Taste was malty-sweet with some caramel. Didn’t knock my socks off, but not bad.

Copper color, with a rich malt taste. Enjoyed it...would have taken another but I had two more beers to try out
