2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slight grain aroma, mild bitterness, thin bodied golden ale. Easy drinker, redesign label, put it in cans and sell it for $14 a 30 pack and it will corner the market. As a craft beer it’s just Meh.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tap. Pours a cler light yellow gold body with a small wispy white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is very light, some cereal grain, minimal to no hops, a little bit of a chemical like note. Flavor has little to no hops, lots of dusty Cheerios like notes, short abrupt finish. Light bodied and fizzy with a watery finish and not much bitterness at all. Hard to pass this off as an APA.

Meh - most of the beer I sampled at the Allentown location was good, but not great. This was no exception.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Not a very good beer at all. Upon tasting this, I can’t imagine that the Knuckleball is really a pale ale. It’s more like a pale lager, at best. It poured a light golden color with no head or lacing at all. There wasn’t much to the nose; only a hint of straw and very light hops. The body is extremely light and the flavors are incredibly bland. The beer gets even worse when the aftertaste turns a little sour. There isn’t a whole lot going on in this glass.
