Coppery color with a tan head. From the tap. Sweet maltiness with a caramel flavor. The alcohol strength is well hidden.

Tasty maibock at the brewpub with some orange citrus up front on top of a sweet malty base with some grains back there. Slight lacing on top but little carbonation overall.

Clear copper color with no head. Grain, caramel, and grapefruit aroma with a flavor of caramel, bread, and some grapefruit. Not bad. Not impressive.

Very good maibock, dark golden color, light & fluffy off-white head, caramel, grapefruit & ceral in the aroma, medium-full body, a little tough to drink, a bit too heavy in the body, but nice malty flavor with notes of caramel & citrus, a decently well-rounded beer, but a lot better maibocks out there than this

Draft at BBW. Dark straw colored, with aroma of caramel malt, fruity notes, and some hops. Tastes caramel malty, with a solid apricotty pear frutiness, and a solid hit of finishing hops to accent the fruit. The hops aren’t overpowering, and compliment the fruit and malt nicely.

Aged. A lot of carmel, malting. Amber with a bit of lace. Thinnish mouthfeel. Sweet not cloying. Perhaps not best example of the style but Quaffable

On tap at the BBW Brew Pub. Poured a deeper, and see through, gold color with a small sized white ehad. Aromas of light fruits, caramel and a little on the bready side. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and bready. Has a honey sweetness to it as well.
