Meh - most of the beer I sampled at the Allentown location was good, but not great. This was one of the few exceptions. A really nice and balanced porter. Icould drink this all day! Rich, dark, subtly sweet - brilliant!

On tap at Allentown Brew Works. Arrived at the table black with a thin tan head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Very pleasant aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is similar with chocolate and roasted malt. Moderate roast bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied and fairly well rounded. Nice porter.

Dark, but not totally opaque in color with a tan head. Very roasty with tones of chocolate and coffee. Not bad, and drinkable enough to allow you to have more than one.
