On tap. Pours a dark clear amber color with no head. Aroma of malts, hops, citrus, and alcohol. Taste is bitter up front with a sweet citrusy aftertaste and a bit of a hot alcoholic edge. A complex beer, but a bit too much alcohol.

on tap-pours an offwhite head with copper color. Aroma is sweet, medium hops, malt. Taste is sweet, floral,medium hops with a bite. Good effervescence. Mild for a 2IPA, nice.

I expected more hops in a beer labelled as a double IPA but the quantity was just right for my sense. Labeling smabeling! I felt the alcohol was well hiden but the body could use more work. The taste is also more dominant than the aroma.

Pours a translucent golden orange with a small white head. Aroma was a sweet maltiness with some citrus hop characteristics. Flavor along the same lines with some alcohol and slight bitterness.

Nice IPA, strong beer (though I didn’t realize just how strong it was until I saw the ABV). Not over-the-top hoppy, which is what I prefer in this type of brew. I assume this beer, along with a few others, came to BBW with the new brewer.
