Admiral (524), Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 20, 2001 The best spiced ale I’ve ever had. A nice malt sweetness provides a background for the perfectly harmonised spices. Seek this out at all costs if in the area. obxdude10 (1408), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 17, 2002 Updated: Nov 24, 2003Nicely spiced Belgian style ale, lots of different spices in the nose as well as the flavors, cinnamon, nutmeg, corander, sweet gale, decent warming affect from the alcohol, very little head, dark amber in color, very nice seasonal beer
mkobes (2066), paramus, New Jersey, USA Nov 22, 2003 Deep golden color. Very good beer. Malty and spicey. High in alcohol but subtle in flavor. Very enjoyable. Good beer for a nightcap. closey22 (30), Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, USA Mar 16, 2007 Beers like thisare why I love seasonals. Although this is not the best Christmas beer I’ve tasted, it is one that I travel to get each year. Not the most balanced Christmas beer but it is of high quality and craftmanship. The spice and sugar make for great Christmas brew, like ginger bread cookies!. It has a beautiful red-to-brown hue. I think all Christmas beers should have a red tint to them to honor one of the colors of the season (green is for another holiday:) After all Jesus was born to die; shedding His red blood for us (JOHN 3:16)! "Bethlehem" is where it all began! Jesus Chirst and this brewery are well worth seeking. Jesus first, of course! dolemike1 (1105), Owings Mills, Maryland, USA Dec 2, 2002 Wonderful spiced Belgian Strong ale. ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander... all sorts of good stuff. Very nice, warms you on a cold night. I believe this is the same beer as the No Name Christmas Ale. They apparently found a name for it.
