Loved this stout, black in color with a nice full & rich brown head, excellent roasted flavors, nicely balanced with a medium body, almost like a Murphy's or even a Guinness in its body, this was so drinkable, hints of chocolate, a bit of a dry finish, overall a great stout

Got a 1/2 gallon growler for me and some others. I was the only one that ended up drinking it. Good stout. A bit roasty and has a punch at the end. Not one of the creamier oatmeal stouts that I have tried.

Where is the Oatmeal? I was expecting a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal flavor, but I was disappointed. Otherwise, it was overall a fine drink in a great place for food and the like. I spent my 21st there and in their Steelgaarden Belgian Beer Lounge. If you are in the Bethlehem area, worth the trip for the 100 Belgians alone.
Overall a decent beer and comparable to a normal stout, but I feel like its name is a misnomer. There is probably more Steelworker than oatmeal in this mix.

Dark chestnut brown with small lite brown head. Decent lacing on glass. Coffee notes iun front of swallow with lingering coffee aftertaste 5-10 seconds after swallow. Hop character does not become apparent until the end. Very thin mouthfeel for a stout.

It pours into the glass a thick dark chocolate color. Heavy. The head is a dense creamy tan/beige color. The lace seems to stick to the glass. The aroma is of coffee, chocolate, raisins and light hints of alcohol. Slightly sweet to the nose also. The taste is thick, has hints of a sweet chocolate coffee, malt, and light fruit. The taste is kind of dry at the end. It is a good Irish stout, a pleasure to drink. The kind of beer you could drink more of.

Without a doubt, this brewery’s finest beer. Great dry stout with substantial fruitiness and hop flavor. Succeeds in delivering the full stout palate which too many other BPs fail to acheive. Rather nice, really.

This is a very rich tasting stout. Very flavorful and even better than Guinness.

Great tasting stout. I’ve had this a few times and once it seemed a little flat. This was an exception though. If you ever get to Bethlehem, PA, you won’t be disappointed with the Brew Works. They usually have a few Belgians on tap and they seem to get better every year.

Almost black in color...great head on it...a good moreso ’sipping’ beer, only served on tap, I wish they’d bottle this stuff and sell it, but it’s a very impressive stout...
