Draft at Brewpub. First of all, let me preface my rating with the fact that I am not a fan of many Tripels. I find many of them to taste like rubbing alcohol. Pours translucent golden with a retentive white head, nice lacing. Nice aroma of lemon, belgian esters, pale wheat malts, and even some hefe notes. Light bodied for a triple, which gives this a refreshing texture without being watery. Flavor of pale belgian wheat malts, honey, and clove. There is a decent amount of residual sweetness. Yeasty finish has a hint of peppercorn. Alcohol is barely detectable, making this one very dangerous considering the ABV. If there is such thing as a lawnmower triple, this would be it. Very nice.
