| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 3, 2010 This is awful. Is this even beer? Very weak hazy light yellow brew with a fizzy quick death head. Aroma: apples.. green apples. Well done on that front! As advertised. Some hop zip, citric acid.. this is somewhat drinkable but as a beer it is just brutal. Odd cinnamon spice and way too sweet with more apples on the nose. Very fizzy, a light bitter finish with sweet candy apple after taste. The 6 pack DIscovery really shit the bed with this one. Leaves an unwanted coating in my mouth. Any more than 12oz would have been a drain pour. j12601 (1413), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 28, 2009 On tap at Smokeless Joe’s. Pours a clear yellow with a thin white head. Big apple aromas, reminds me of the green apple sour puckers. Wow… doesn’t taste like beer, doesn’t taste like cider. Tastes like some sort of alco-pop, tangy, sweet… really, really sweet. Light grain bitterness that sneaks up at the end in an attempt to fight through the big fake sweet apple flavors. Bejaaamin (115), London, Ontario, Canada

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 9, 2009 Bottle from LCBO thanks to Robin ! Pours clear pale yellow with small head, very short retention. Aroma has lots of green apples, slight sour. Taste has some apples. A bit cider-like. Finish is dry. Overall, nothing really comes out except apples. This is not bad but I won’t have again. Slight off flavor here and there. decimator (51), Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 29, 2009 Updated: Oct 31, 2009From the OCB discovery pack no. 2. 341ml bottle poured into a Pilsner glass. Poured yellow with a slight haze to it. Head was a 1/4" which was quickly gone. Looks like your average macro lager. Strong apple juice aroma and not much else. Tastes like apples! Very sweet with some sourness. I find it almost too sweet at times. Good apple aftertaste. Feels much stickier then your average Lager/Pilsner. Pretty drinkable at first but the apple taste can get overpowering as you go. One bottle is enough. It’s hard to call this a beer as It’s more like a fizzy alcoholic apple drink. It’s good for what it is but I’d rather have a cider or mix my apple juice with Whiskey. TipsyMcStager (946), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2009 kind of gimmicky but not as bad as you would think. Aroma is pure green apple. Pours slightly cloudy pale yellow. Very sweet and appley. Slight astringent finish. Not a "beer drinkers beer" but you could live with one on a patio. presario (3010), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Full of fruit sugars. Overly sweet flavour. Sugary fruit beer. Very big green apple taste. A little cider-like especially in the finish. A light sour apple note as well. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 22, 2009 This Pils poured a clear light yellow colour with a nice big bright white head. To the nose there are scents of apples, dough and cinnamon. The first taste was really too sweet and thick. Flavours of sugary carbonated apple juice is about all there is. Palate is sweet and the thickness is lingering. Sickly sweet.
