austinpowers (2827), New York, New York, USA May 5, 2008 Bottle at Volo in Toronto. MASSIVE appley aroma with a nice sweet apple flavor to follow. A pretty sweet beer overall. It’s only weakness is that it’s a little thin in body. Should have perhaps used a good wheat base instead.
Sledge Jr (2693), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jun 15, 2008 In the bottle at Smokeless Joe’s in Toronto. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Has an intense Lik-em Stick green apple candy aroma. The candy sweetness to the flavor is astounding. This has a HUGE apple flavor. It reminds me of the apfelbier that I had in Frankfurt on the Römerplatz. If this beer were an amplifier, I’d say it goes to eleven. I’ve never had an apple=flavored beer that I liked as much. wilderthanyou (303), Guelph, Ontario, Canada Jan 27, 2008 Pours a golden pilsner with a quickley diminishing white head. The aroma is fresh cider. The flavour is too overpowered by the apple juice for any of the beer to speak up. That being said, its still not bad, just hard to think of it as beer. I think I might cook a ham in this in a slow cooker. DerWeg (372), Tronna, Ontario, Canada Sep 12, 2007 Draught at ?C’est What? Straightforward sweet-leaning fruit beer with a nice cidery finish and some respectable hop bitterness. A balanced product for sure, acceptable. cyrenaica (265), Milton, Ontario, Canada Sep 1, 2007 341ml bottle

I tried this beer on August 31, 2007 at Smokeless Joe’s in Toronto. The beer poured a translucent gold colour with a small white head. The aroma was very apply, crabapply actually. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with some mild carbonation. The flavour was very much all about apples with a hint of hops. A very nice aftertaste reminded me for several minutes that I had drank this beer. This is a beer I may try again.
