Tap at Baker St Station. Malt and caramel aroma with some dried stone fruit. This was medium bodied, nicely carbonated, more of that caramel, a bit of acidity. Slight bitter, long lasting finish. This was really good.

Cask at Arrow & Loon: cloudy dark amber, almost no head. Some maple and marzipan but very light (which is good - not overly sweet), bit of hops, slightly sweet on the palate, light bodied and mild carbonation, bit of a dry finish. Overall decent cask beer.

2011-03-19. Dark copper body with a small white head. Sweet yeasty cidery notes in the aroma are not always lovely. 5+ Flavour is similar, sweet fruity cidery character, mild caramel notes, odd grainy malts. 5+ Average to light palate. Not particularly enjoyable to be honest. I seem to have had different experience with it than previous raters though. Draft, Victory Cafe, Toronto

[3380-20100922] Tap. Buttered popcorn grains aroma. Clear, rich orange red body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Sweet maple apple fruit with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Sweet maple apple fruit flavour has bread crust notes and a long bread aftertaste with odd mango tints. Medium body. Very foamy out the tap, has some great grain characteristics.

Aroma is sweet, sugary, ruby, pours a small tan head. Taste is a pleasing toasty malt, candy-like, nice aftertaste. Light bodied, balanced some sweetness. Good one!

Bottle- Pours a deep and hazy bronze. Nice frothy cap on this one. Nose of toasty malts, very earthy, a bit spicy, woody with fresh hops. Tastes quite malty with only a slight bitter hop bite. Toasty, caramel malts with rye and spice. Earthy towards the finish with a minimal hop presence. Pretty good overall. Very clean and well made. Thanks for the bottle David!

this one was a real nice seasonal by nickel brook. deep maroon colour with an off white head. the malt profile dominated the aroma and flavour but the was enough hopping to make the finish just slightly bitter. only 2 batches were made in its first year so samples may be hard to come by. one of the better beers from this brewery.
