Sugary rice crispy aroma, smells more pale than the golden color. Beet sugar sweetness, grainy slippery finish.

Canette 473ml sous le nom "Premium Organic Lager". De couleur dorée foncée et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle, léger de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches, traces de foin) avec des petites notes fruitées (pommes). Mince-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement bas-moyen et une texture aux petites notes huileuses. Faibles notes fruitées (pommes) accompagné de petites notes métalliques lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi rapidement d’un goût de grains de malt frais et légèrement sucrés avec des petites traces de biscuits au miel puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux aux petites notes asséchantes (herbes fraîches, notes de foin). Post-goût court, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux avec des petites traces métalliques.

Originally rated December 2009. Second organic brew rated this week. This one pours a mildly hazy caramel-orange colour with a medium head that is thick and leaves a nice coating on the top of the brew. It does look like a craft beer. Malty nose with some caramel and hop aromas. Medium-full body with a mild caramel taste mixed-in with the hop. Not too sweet and not too bitter though. Tastes different from most organic beer (as it does not have that organic feel I do not like). Just tastes differently overall, but not bad at all.

Light in taste, fair in flavour, nothing to special, ok beer. I would have again if offered

Can, shared with Rockley. Nice looking orange amber with a lively white head. Fruity grains, tart acidic finish doesn’t sit well with me. Almost sour really. Possibly off?

Well... I was surprised by this one. Crisp lager, fruity and smooth. Low natural carbonation, nice. Very drinkable.

Can LCBO. Pours amber, somewhat cloudy, with generous white head. Faint aroma, a little sweet. Medium bodied. Taste quite complex and not unpleasant. Interesting.

yet another poor canadian micro output. these guys at nickel brook must have the same poor palate like the folks at the canadian trafalgar microbrewery. taste: metallic and bitter. took 3 sips, took a 5 minute break, then decided to throw it down the sink. don’t buy this. big mistake.
