A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock with Rudiger. Lovely smoky malt and vanilla with heavy coffee, fruit and dark chocolate. Sure this was down as a mild in the Wenlock and if it was this is all I could want from a mild. Complex and downable. Lovely.

Bottle thanks to ronnie. Alround rating. Lackin condition somewhat, however thats how i like my milds, and this is a mild not a dam porter! Roasty sweet malts, tasty chocolate notes, very drinkable indeed.

Pint pulled at The Wenlonk Arms in Islington (London), dark black with a bubble beige head. Aroma of sweetish roasted malt. Sweet roasted malt in the flavour too, deliciously smooth with a lingering burnt bitter finish.
