Pours clear golden with minimal white head. Strong hoppy, flowery nose. Aroma of hops, grass, malt. Watery texture.

Bottle from Za Popen’t, Ljubljana. Golden-yellow body with a lasting white head. Lovely aroma, creamy, hoppy, fruity, sweetish, a much appreciated aroma hops blast. The taste is a bit of a letdown, basically the same lovely fruity hoppy note with some OK bitterness popping through an earthy, beet-like background. Seemed slightly messy. Not their best beer, but you can hardly say it’s bad.

Bottle, 4.8% ABV and 27 IBU. The label has very unique artwork as usual for Bevog. More breweries should do that. Pale golden body, medium head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Sweet hoppy taste. Good but... as my first Kölsch it’s certainly underwhelming. It’s probably not a good example of the style because it feels very much just like a mediocre Golden Ale.

jookos (2274) - FINLAND - JUL 21, 2014
Bottle. Pale yellow, filtered. Hoppy coctail with green berries, bit green leafyness and some floral.. perfumy notes. Has a subtle yeasty fuityness mixed in the pale malts also. Pale malty body, lots of hoppyness. Sort of a bitter finish. Liked the kölsch- like subtle fruityness that’s there, if you’re looking for it. Blind tasted I would venture a thinish pale ale though.

Pours a clear, orangey golden color, topped with an average white head. There is the aroma of citrusy hops as well as some spiced. The taste is bittery, some spices present. Finish bitter. Easily drinkable, but had better.

Aroma is citrus hoppy, pours with low head that quickly settles. Colour is very pale and the beer has medium carbonation. Taste isn’t something new. Mildly refreshing and a slight sour finnish.

Draught at Mikkeller & Friends. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hops, pine needles and flowers. Fruity flavour of malts, hops and pine needles. Hoppy finish.

Tapped at bevog. Clear light yellow color with white head. Fruity and malty aroma with citrusy tones of hops. Dry, lively carbonated. Bitterness starts from very beginning and lasts in aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the Brewpub. Aroma is mostly hoppy, fruity. Light yellow colour, clear. Stable head. Taste is again mostly hoppy, moderately bitter, slightly thin, but that is to be expected. Fruity, lightly grassy.

Tap at brewery. Yellow golden color with medium white head. Malty, fruity aroma with hoppy touch. Taste, malt, grapes, citrus hops, spices. Nice hoppy bitter finish. Good.
