Kramah, shows off its hops muscles. We used an insane dose of highly fruity, aromatic hops, which gives the beer a strong aroma of mango, lychee, citruses and a bunch of other tropical fruits. The taste continues along this manner, then the elder components reveal themselves and continue into a bitterness that reminds one of biting into a fresh, juicy grapefruit. A very simple, yet effective combination of malts provides enough support so the bitterness does not rip out your tongue.

Bottle, with some nice graphics on the label. Golden, towards amber, clear. Pretty nice hoppy oranges, and grapefruit on the nose, with nice pale, slight hay/grainy, maltyness below. Dry, bitter. Some peaches, lots of grapefruit mixed in the flavour. Some toffee. Pretty nice. Has a lot of flavour without feeling sterile, lab-produced. And I enjoy the wicked label.

330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Amber brown, not much head. Caramel hop aroma. Orange grapefruit malt flavour. IPA bitter hybrid. OK but I prefer pure IPAs.

Bottle. Clear golden body, tall rocky head. Aroma has dry piney yet also tropical fruity hops. Thin but crisp mouthfeel. Taste has grapefruit and pine, also some medium-ripe plums. I generally prefer unfiltered IPAs but this isn’t bad. Dry piney finish.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2014 Bottle, BBE 13/10/14, 100th IPA rating. Pours amber with a nice-looking, small, white head. Aroma is a lot of fruitiness, green hops, grapefruit, but also sweeter fruits like guava. Taste is dry, fairly bitter with a lot fruitiness. Grapefruit and citrus dominate. Lemon peel too. Strong flavor, but light in the mouth and refreshing. Excellent IPA, superb drinkability.

@ The Lets do a Chris O tasting. Pours golden with a white head. Big grapefruit nose, also general citrus with some pine furniture polish. taste is similar but throw in some mango and orange into the mix and you will get it. Nice beer, one slight thing the flavours don’t mix they all seem to hit you at different times, maybe give this one a few more months or if you can really fresh.

Tap at Bar Animal. Deep golden, offwhite lacing cream. Citrus and resinny pine, light earthiness. Meloinidin and berry fruityness. Fullbodied, chewy, balances the hops well. Plenty of rough edges, but pleasant ant moreish nonetheless.
