COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale ale basically originates from England, but we have brewed it in our own way. It was designed with the idea of a very tasty, aromatic and balanced beer. The base of the beer is formed by a relatively simple combination of the basic and caramelised malts. This base was then overlaid with 4 types of hops that give it a fresh, fruity aroma and a superbly refreshing taste, which together with the malt base creates highly balanced and dangerously drinkable ale.

33cl bottle from Cork and Cask. Appearance - bright amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - pine and grapefruit pith. Taste - oranges with underlying spicy earthiness. Even some root vegetables like parsnip. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry finish that falls away quickly but ccontinues at that lower level for some time. Overall - more complex than it first appears.

Erzengel (2327) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2014
The beer starts smooth and nicely hopped. Not too deep in hop-aroma, but fresh with flowery hints. The body is not too sweet, the bitterness is average. On the tongue remains a smooth, flowery-malty aroma with moderate deepness.

Bottle at home, from Hippo Beers, 08/06/14, Very lightly hazed golden amber with a well appointed off white covering that stays for the show. Nose is tangerine, floral, peach, bread dough, straw. Taste comrises light bread dough, melon, bitter orange, floral notes, grassy, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, subtle hop bitterness in the close. Ok clean drinking APA, was expecting more on the back of their IPA but this isn’t a patch on it. Not enough citricana and hop presence.
