Pale ale basically originates from England, but we have brewed it in our own way. It was designed with the idea of a very tasty, aromatic and balanced beer. The base of the beer is formed by a relatively simple combination of the basic and caramelised malts. This base was then overlaid with 4 types of hops that give it a fresh, fruity aroma and a superbly refreshing taste, which together with the malt base creates highly balanced and dangerously drinkable ale.

33cl bottle from Kaubamaja, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy deep golden to amber with an off-white head. Somewhat earth-like malty aroma with noticeable hoppy notes, hints of tropical fruits and citrus. Moderate sweet with nice and balanced flavours and a fine bitterness. Quite delicious and easy to drink.

Bottle in Ljubljana. Pours clear orange with a frothy, lasting white head. Aroma is peachy, apricot, wheat, light malt. The flavour is smooth peach and apricot, some caramel and toasted malts, a lasting lightly bitter fruity finish. Quite decent from a promising Slovenian brewer (albeit with premises in Austria).

(Bevog Tak Pale Ale) Bottle 330 ml from MarkoNm, many thanks! Served into a tulip, ABV 5.5% Deep orange golden colour on a crystal clear body, light activity in it. Small but thick head, slightly off-white in colour, with good retention for its size, leaving medium lacing behind. Aroma is very fruity, citrus, orange peels, hops, tropical fruits, passion fruit. Very good taste too, some nuts at first that quickly get replaced by a solid malt backbone, citrus, lots of tropical fruits again, mango, passion fruit, some grains that seem unfit here. Mildly bitter finish. Medium thin body, good carbonation, very dry on the palate. Very good and highly drinkable.

Niente male questa american pale ale, made in osterreich, bell’aspetto, e un aroma buono di esotico. In bocca ha una bella beva, e disseta egregiamente.

Bottle from Independent Spirit, Bath. Amber with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of oranges, strawberries, green tea and pine, with some malty sweetness. Flavour had plenty more fruit, a hint of herbs and crisp malts, leading to a dryish finish. Very good.

Bottle from Borut, thanks! Malt, mango and citrus (orange, mandarine) and a fresh minty note that dominates the medium bitter finish and makes this hoppy (but not overhopped) beer even more crisp. Great stuff!

Bottle from deeside drinks emporium. Pours a golden brown with a thick off white head which lasts. Aromas of lemongrass, lychee and grass with a slight salted caramel. Flavours of bitter lime with a biscuity back bone which smooths it out. Quite nice
