Pale ale basically originates from England, but we have brewed it in our own way. It was designed with the idea of a very tasty, aromatic and balanced beer. The base of the beer is formed by a relatively simple combination of the basic and caramelised malts. This base was then overlaid with 4 types of hops that give it a fresh, fruity aroma and a superbly refreshing taste, which together with the malt base creates highly balanced and dangerously drinkable ale.

Bottle @ THT February. Pours a clear amber beer with a big off white head on top. Aroma is faint, rather old, dusty hops. Flavor is mildly bitter, a decent amount of hoppy bitterness, but lacking some distinguishable characteristics here. Still, an ok beer with a low level of carbonation and a short, light bitter aftertaste.

33cl bottle: BBD 25 Mar 15. Poured into my huge ’Judas’ badged mega glass at home on 27 Feb 15. Amber body, clear: no sediment left the bottle, large white head, glad I used the Judas glass. Hops rule the nose and taste with tropical fruits leading the way, mango and grapefruit being the main two flavours. More than decent.

Fat på Flying Scotsman. Klar koppar med vitt skum. Mycket maltigt och kola i doften. Rund smak, kolasötma med mild beska. Mjuk och fin, men ganska medioker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Flying Scotsman, Stockholm. Lightly hazy deep golden, mid sized head. Distinct passionfruit aroma. Dry with slender body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Crisp bready malt covered in a thick blanket of passionfruit hops. Long piney bitterness. Elegant and aromatic.
