3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled from a bottle from the brewery. Amber colour with a white head. A delicious light bitter. Very tasty considering it is only 3.8% ABV. Earthy and fruity flavours with pleasant notes of oranges and lemons. Even some hints of peach. Light carbonation and lightly bitter finish. Very tasty.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. A well rounded session bitter, slight hops on the finish. I’ve had it a few times on draught, this was the first bottle I’d tried of it.

Bottle from Saucy Pears.
Appearance - hazy amber with a decent head.
Nose - cookie dough.
Taste - digestive biscuit, light chocolate in the back and a dried fruit note.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish.
Overall - this grew on me. Not bad at all.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask-conditioned at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol March 2013. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Hedgerow fruits, a touch of tangerine and some leafy hops, leading to a decent, bitter finish. Enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown 500ml bottle: best before Aug 2013, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard during Aug 2012.
Slightly cloudy orange colour: dull old gold maybe. On top a thick head os white foam.
The nose and taste were both fruity and hoppy: a good blend of flavours with the hops being the strongest influence giving the beer a dry and extremely hop finish.
This brewery produces some lovely beers: not their best but still a very fine beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled 26/05/12. An orangey gold coloured beer with a tiny rim of whitish bubbles. Juicy citricity in the nose with a bit of spoiling BCA gone wrong rubber. Pretty bitter in the mouth with more citrus and rubber. There’s a little chocolatey sourness and toast as well. Enjoyable enough, but has flaws.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Culham Post Office, Culham, Oxon. Burnished gold with white head. Considering the abv, this packs a decent punch, there is a malty fruitiness, a hint of orange skin perhaps then a dry, earthy, bittering English style hop note. A decent session type bitter.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Co-op Marston, Oxford, purchased & consumed 08.09.11 Pours warm gold/light amber with a white head. Good bitterness from the off, quite impressed with what the Fuggles and Goldings are capable off if enough are used in a standard English bitter as they have been used here. Bit dry towards the end and whilst quite simple without too many other pointers to remark on, its a damn decent bottled bitter. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. Pours light golden with a large head. Aroma is bready and dried fruits. Some lemon as well. Some malt to start, with a strong bitter finish. Not a bad session bitter.
