2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JorisPPattyn (6724) - Antwerpen, - OCT 1, 2007
Draught Old gold-copper over very dense yellowish head. A bit of fusels, and even lactic acid in the nose. Toasted and other malts, point of sourishness, bit oxydized (though certainly not old) malts. It’s weird without being bad. Sweetness retronasal. Light to medium bodied, stickyness in the throat. Bit sweet-sticky ale.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bart (2509) - Brussels, BELGIUM - NOV 20, 2011
Bottle, 75cl, thanks to Stefaan. Hazy darker blond to light amber coloured beer with no carbonation and a small white head. Fruity, almost peachy short malty hinted aroma with some very light herby touches. Medium to full palate. Finish is light sweet, short malty and short fruity hinted. Misses some aftertaste, short balance.

Clear amber yellow colour, white head. Seems filtered. Aroma of caramel, yeast, some butter. Flavour sweetish, again somewhat buttery. Quite thin. Not my favourite but kudos for keeping the old brand alive.

Deutlicher Essiggeruch. Säuerlicher Essig-Antrunk, einigermaßen harmonisch, spritzig, sehr schwer zu beschreiben. Saurer werdend, etwas bitter, darunter mild, insgesamt spritzig. Ein sehr interessantes und definitiv schwer zu bescreibendes Bier!
