33clbbottle thanks to lukaduke. Thanks! Pours a bright, hazy gold with a big, frothy white head of foam. Steady retention. The aroma is lemony, citrusy, funky, tart. It reminds me of the way a really sour Berliner Weiss smells. The taste is bready, sweet, a touch tart. I’m actually really surprised that this beer isn’t overwhelmingly tart. Lighter mouthfeel and a spritzy tingle on the tongue. This is one beauty of a beer. An instant favorite if I’ve ever had one.

Poured a sunshine gold with healthy haze and a big fluffy head. Nose was very farmyard. Taste and palate are borderline sour. Refreshing, but would not have again.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy orange color, with a creamy, off-white-colored, medium head. Has a slightly acidic aroma with touches of citrus, gooseberry, hay and some barnyard. The flavor is surprisingly acidic with hay, vinegar and some grass. Feels fresh and has a dry finish. Mouth feel is smooth and silky and has a light bitterness. A fresh, balanced and sour saison. Again, a good and interesting beer from BFM.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Orange hazy, massive beige head. Smells of brett, yeast esters, spices and light malts. Light sweet, quite bretty, some apples and other fruits, quite dry, very nice brett flavors, also some nice tart fruit acids. Moderate bitter finish. A very nice brett saison. Didn’t expect this kind of saison from Switzerland. Very nice!

Keg @ Mekong. Gold pour with a small head. The nose is caramelized pineapple, pear, lemon. Saison yeast. The taste is more pineapple and pear. Moderately tart, dry. Hints of brett, marshmallow. Light body, fine carbonation. Pretty tasty, especially with spicy food.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, brett, pineapple and earthiness. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with a long dry, funky and fruity finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Draft at Mekong. Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of canned pineapple, tart fruits, musty, almost funky notes. The taste is tart fruits, mild funk. Very bright. Medium bodied, lingering tartness. I quite liked this.
