Bottle in Eagle with friends and family. Pour is hazy orange with a fluffy white head and great lacing. Funky, urine, tangy, doughy, grassy, citrusy, orange peel, bready, light caramel, and cheesy aroma. Taste is citrus, lemon peel, oranges, mango, fresh-cut grass, tangy, bready, light pepper, earthy, and musty with a medium tart finish. Medium body with huge carbonation. Lightly tart, fruity, somewhat earthy, dry and refreshing beer. Nice stuff!

Stone Sour Fest 2013. Golden pour with a white head. Notes of lemon, orange peel, and yeast on the nose. Some hints of spice, sweet malt, pear, and a subtle tartness. The flavor is a little bit sweet and malt forward. Some pear, apple, lemon, and orange fruit notes. Yeast, subtle spice, and mildly tart on the finish.

Aroma is sweet and tart with pineapple and wheat. Pours super bubbly and blonde with 90% head. Taste is amazing. Tart but funky in all the right places. A perfect balance of intense and easy to drink. Some tart citrus notes. I would gladly drink this again.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden, lively head. Mild lactic citric nose. Dryish with medium body and spritzy mouthfeel. Lightly grainy with freshening lemomy lactic acidity. Complex and well integrated flavours, mid bitter finish. Another great effort from one of the most iconic brewers I know of.

Capped 750 from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dirty orange gold with a 4+ finger frothy/foamy beige head. Aroma of collapsing foam is mild bretty sour. Near full bodied. Whooph! This stuff has an impact, which softens quickly. It’s bretty/barnyard sour with apparent citrus. Makes me think of gueuze. It really does quickly soften, and I could buy this as a pretty funky saison. Bottom line is it is fairly strongly flavored, and it is quite an experience.

Bottle (aged in Bon Chien Barrels) Pour a rich golden orange color with a big three fingers of foam that laces nicely. This beer is beautiful and rides the line of saison and sour beer beautifully. Ripe orange, bitter citrus pith, fresh grass, rustic dusty field funk. Im a bit bias because I love saisons as well as sour wild beers and this beer merges the two styles seamlessly. Great carbonation, brett barnyard funk. Just gorgeous !

750ml bottle. Cloudy golden pour with an off white head. Funky, citrus, yeast, and spices. Nice light tart finish. This was refreshing and very drinkable ... will have to get another bottle.
