Aroma has grass and fruits. Also some yeasty tones. Foamy palate. Flavour is tart with citrus, some grapefruit and some yeasty tones. Also some white wine. No signs of oak here. A saison on the tart side.

750ml bottle @ PBF IX

Pours yellowish orange with a foamy head. Aroma of tart fruits, wood, oak, yeast, spices and earthy notes. Taste is woody, oaky and tart fruity with some spicy and earthy notes, some yeastiness. Finish is yeasty, tartish and earthy with some wood and oaky notes. Okay, slightly vinous saison.

Bottle .75, 5% version. Yellow hazy, well carbonated. Barny funk on nose, wheaty hay, light citrus. Med light body. Light acidity, oak / barn flavours, lemony citrus. Dry finish. Pretty nice. Is refreshing, but has also an interesting light funky flavour, apparently from the oak barrels. Interesting and nice, doesn’t get boring.

From TAP at Moeder Lambic, shared with Mathieu87. To bad I missed the fruit variants... Would have liked to taste those as well... APPEARANCE: clouded blond beer, nice stable white head. NOSE: fresh, hoppy, fruity, lytchee. TASTE: fruity, little dry, subtle sourness. Very balanced and good saison!

Au fût @ ML Fontainas. (18/05/2014) with hackobock. Bière blonde à la robe paillé au beau col evanescent à l’effervescence moyenne. Saison?

DWG; Pours gloudy golden orange with a fluffy, creamy, for ever lasting and lacing head. Aroma is malt, yeast, sour, apples, citrus and pepper. Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, light spices and bitter lasting. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

(Bouteille 33cl): Un nez savonneux de levure, houblons citronnés, vin blanc et tanins doux. En bouche c’est moelleux et bien houblonné avec les notes vineuses évidentes et enrobantes. Buvabilité fulgurante.

Sparkling muddy yellow-golden body with an inch thick white head leaving speckled laces. Complex wooden spicy funky fruity berry yeasty nose. Aromas that seems to evolve during the time I take to sniff them out. Most inviting. Refreshing grapefruit acidity and tannins with the original aromas on top. The late finish has an unexpected twist reminiscent of sea-buckthorn. A summer beer that leaves the tongue dry and begging for more. "It hurts so good".
