Pours cloudy straw yellow with a small frothy top. Aroma is very farmy, yeast with some wood and tartness. Taste is light, yeasty with some great farmy tartness and finishes dry on the palate. Real nice. Thanks boutip for sharing.

Pours hazy gold with thinning dissipating head. Aroma of white wine and urinal cakes. Sharp peppery flavor but smooth finish. Really good beer. I'll age it next time but good fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2014. Golden hazy citrus. White head. Nose is quite fun, very fruity, lots of berries, light funk. Taste is muted by yeast, thick yeast taste, lightly mineral, touch fruits, only faint funk in the back. Not bad but body & taste are too muted for me for it to excel. Body is thick yeast.

Bottle. Light to moderate straw for the malt, lemon for the malt, heavy barnyard for the yeast, with notes of apple, wood, and vinegar. Head is huge, frothy turning rocky, off-white with thick crusty lacing and is fully lasting. Color is muddy, medium yellow amber. Flavor starts heavily acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation, and finishes tart and dry. A nice refreshing Saison verging on a Sour.

A hazed amber saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, superb mix of ground cherries, Brett, light fruity esters, very smooth and complex, light lemony notes in finale. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with lemon notes, light Brett, ground cherries, superb. On tap at St Bock.

Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch säuerlich fruchtig, hefig, leicht holzig, Citrus. Geschmack sehr fruchtig, leicht säuerlich, Citrus, Weinhefe, Trauben, etwas viel Karbonisation, lecker!

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2015 Very intriguing sour smell. The first taste is heavily carbonated, but inherits a saison characteristic sour taste with a fine decent finish on the body. Awesome beer (if and only if you like sour beers)

Bottle: Cloudy, tangerine colored body, dense & about 99% opaque with a chunky, foamy white head that slowly settles to a thick rimmed, bubbly collar. Moderate sheets of lacing on the glass. Musty old lemon rind aroma, quite sour & tart with a moderately acidic & pleasantly lactic character from start to finish. Funky farmhouse yeast notes, a nice tannic element that closes in on white wine but doesn’t quite close the deal. Hay, citron, musty cellar floor, & a touch of bready malts with a nice funky kick. Flavor packs on the mustiness even more. Lots of mildew laden driftwood & sopping wet oak notes, funky cheese rind, pale biscuit malts, week old lemon peels, musty hay & a strong, damp farmhouse waft. A nicely sharp stone fruit skin acidity bites the tongue in the finish, which is about as dry as things can get. Tannin, lemon, oak, & stable floor all close in on a refreshing swallow. Where has this been my whole life? Absolutely delicious.
