On draught at Roscoe’s for Belgian Beer Summit. Clear deep golden color. Aroma is lactic sour, strawberry, floral yeast, and oak. Taste is oak, sweet black cherry, floral spice, and funky basement sourness. A good hybrid of farmhouse, sour, and oak aging.

Very hazy, pale. Appearance of a Weizen. Foam wasn’t too much but stayed there all the time. Smell of cider. Heavily sour, kind of lambic taste with a pleaseant bitterness. Got some bread note in the aftertaste.

Sample from bottle at Beer14. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty and fruity aroma with spicy notes and malt. Moderate sweet with lovely fruity flavours and a slightly dry and yeasty finish. Delicious!

Green 75cl bottle 5% b@Vinmonopolet Langnes Tromsø pours a bright off-white dense foam on an unclear golden body. Scents of hops, malts, citric stuff, faint hints of spirited marzipan. Juicy sour taste, fruity yeasts, fresh fruity malts with hints of smoke. Fruity juicy on palate. Finishes fruity, slightly dry, sour bitter underneath. Overall special.

Batch 9, 330 ml bottle into a wine glass. Vintage unknown but it was purchased a few months ago and the swing top label is notched at 15. Pours a hazy orange with a finger of soft tan foam. Nose is stone fruits, brett funk, yeast, white wine, and some vanilla oak. Taste is very fruity with layers of grass, oak, and wine barrel. Finishes dry, musky and slightly cheesy. Clean and crisp with a coating mouth feel. This isn’t quite up there with the HF barreled saisons but this is a really awesome shelf beer.

Bottle 0,75l. Pours a cloudy orange golden colour that leaves a big nice lacing. Aroma of citrus and sour dough. Same for taste. Very refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[Tap] Tried this one at Hopleaf in Chicago. Hazy and light golden in color. Large white head. Grassy nose with tart and funky notes. Fruits, yeast, light vanilla, lime zest and grassy/lightly vegetal notes in the taste. Dry finish. A good saison for sure. Tasting notes from 2/2014.

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Nesodden. Huge four finger off-white head which settles quickly. Cloudy pale yellow/orange body. Aroma is spicy and stingy. I sense caramel malt, salt, cooked vegetables, grass, coriander root and pear. Reminds me of a geuze. Sour on the tongue at first, with a bitter/sweet aftertaste.
