UPDATED: JAN 10, 2015 Very intriguing sour smell. The first taste is heavily carbonated, but inherits a saison characteristic sour taste with a fine decent finish on the body. Awesome beer (if and only if you like sour beers)

Bottle: Cloudy, tangerine colored body, dense & about 99% opaque with a chunky, foamy white head that slowly settles to a thick rimmed, bubbly collar. Moderate sheets of lacing on the glass. Musty old lemon rind aroma, quite sour & tart with a moderately acidic & pleasantly lactic character from start to finish. Funky farmhouse yeast notes, a nice tannic element that closes in on white wine but doesn’t quite close the deal. Hay, citron, musty cellar floor, & a touch of bready malts with a nice funky kick. Flavor packs on the mustiness even more. Lots of mildew laden driftwood & sopping wet oak notes, funky cheese rind, pale biscuit malts, week old lemon peels, musty hay & a strong, damp farmhouse waft. A nicely sharp stone fruit skin acidity bites the tongue in the finish, which is about as dry as things can get. Tannin, lemon, oak, & stable floor all close in on a refreshing swallow. Where has this been my whole life? Absolutely delicious.

Tasted on 9/20/14 from a capped 750mL bottle at Matt’s after Zwanze day. Pours hazy light orange with a thick white head that slowly recedes to thin, even lace. The nose is fruity, spicy yeast with some oaky funk and light bread yeast. The flavor is tart with some lemon pith up front, moving to spicy, oaky brett funk, less fruity than the nose with the same light malt from the nose. The body is just under medium with lively, stinging carbonation and a long funky, spicy finish.

750ml bottle served in a snifter glass. A: Pours an orange cloudy color forming a big solid and bubbled white head. Medium retention and many spoty lacings left in the glass S: Sour and fruity with some spicy notes. Passion fruit. Vinegar. Sweet grains. A bit woody and a little bit metallic too T: Very fruity and sour upfront. A little bit spiced. Again, strong notes of passion fruit, wood and vinegar. Bready and earthy yeasts. Mild hops bitterness in the very end M: Light body. Good carbonation. Sour and fruity aftertaste O: Very refreshing, easy drinking and tasteful beer. Just another BFM masterpiece [ BA Review @ 3/25/2013 ]

Rating #4000. Bottle 75cl, a cloudy golden beer with huge head and good lace work. Nose is on apricot with light tart touch. Aroma is on grapefruit, apricot, low lactic touch, lambic basis but more fruity and sweet. Fruity astringent finish, lemon zest, sourish.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2014 Nice hazy yellowish-orange color with big head. A bit of lemon, a bit of bread, a bit of funkiness in the aroma. Typical swiss malts as you also find them in beers by Storm&Anchor. Breadish-lemonish taste, light body, medium carbonation. Solid.
