"The smell on this is fucking awesome."
-Dickinsonbeer

Peachy, tart, dry, funky aroma, notes of kiwi and Pacific beach. Crisp, raw, complex body, very fruity but very controlled, with a small residual malt sweetness. Solid saison.

Pours a pale amber body with a medium frothy head. Nice flowery aroma of hops with a sour feel. Nice taste that matches the aroma, sour hoppy flavours.

APPEARANCE- Dark straw color, hazy complexion. Light head. NOSE- definitly crisp and clear saison. Definitly not corriander or cardamom. FLAVOR- typical saison flavor, but it has a bit of dankness (not like ipa danknes, but oldish notes) NOTES- Excellent beer, has a wierd taste that I can only describe as ’old’. I wish I could be more articulate.

tmoreau (3422) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2016
On tap at Bigby’s Pour House in Addison, IL. and snifter served showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with a frothy layer of soft white head foam that hung around for awhile, and curtainy to web-like cling to the lacing. The nose was fruity yet tart, with citrus as orange, light yeasty funk, and hints of sweetness & oakiness. Medium bodied, with a decent level of showcasing carbonation, the taste presented a nice cooperation of tartness, moderate, earthy bitterness, and pleasant dryness into the finish. Very appealing and balanced components that I wanted to last for the price, but too drinkable to savor too long.

floral, pale, sparkling, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness, medium body, thin feel, fizzy, astringent, Beautiful color, refreshing. The sip is like a road leading to a hidden clearing in the forest. Easy path first, fruity, then sour and bitter bumpy part to finally reach the beautiful spot: all taste merge into a glorious final. Excellent beer...

Multiple keykeg draught glasses, both buttermilk yeast-hazy (end of key) and clear - both supremely original, extending the sense of what new world dryhopped & fancybarreled saison can be, without making a travesty of it. - Shorthand: tastes like freshly squeezed yellow grapefruit juice in buttermilk with an intense lime pith finish. - Will have to elaborate from minute notes, but just this: even in between De la Senne/Thiriez and Cantillon Lambic from tap/pump, this was the most stellar pour...spectacular, on point and that to the point where its Swiss cleanliness becomes an asset? Ben oui.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Fruity smell with barnyard and apples. Similar taste with some fresh apples. Actually light tart. Nice, love the bretty funk.
