Pours a hazy, deep golden orange color with apricot colored edges and a one finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Excellent retention with large rings and streaks of soapy lacing left behind. Looks very good. Earthy, musty aroma with a subtle vinous barrel presence along with some funky bugs, zesty spice, light fruit esters and an interesting herbal tea-like character. Really complex with faint oak, horseblanket, lactic funk, musty brett and farmhouse yeast countered by vibrant citrus rind, vinous light grapes and apple. Smells like a white wine barrel aged saison with a dash of lambic blended in there. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lightly tart and extremely refreshing with a perfect amount of citrus acidity and lingering sourness. Complex yet easy to drink with no harsh, overly acidic or solvent-like character. Musty funk and dry, earthy yeast notes along with peppery spice and a touch of dry, toasted oak up front followed by bready yeast and light fruit flavors. Again, I’m not sure what kind of barrels were used but there’s a nice vinous white character that nicely compliments the citric acidity and funky yeast. Has an almost Berlinerweisse like feel to it because of the sourness and lemon juice flavor but is more saison/farmhouse in style. Slightly dry, tart finish with a touch of acetic vinegar flavor that leaves anticipating the next sip. Overall, this is a really well made beer and possibly the best offering I’ve had from this brewery yet. A lot of interesting, complex flavors going on but they all go together perfectly. This is a delicious beer that I think I could drink in large quantity. I’ll definitely be heading back to the store for more bottles. Highly recommended!

Cloudy orange with a deep cream head. Sour citrus dominates with grassy notes and short lasting hops. Unique and very good.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma of citrus, some grain and grass. Similar taste. Also some light notes of yeast. Balanced and with a medium bitter finish. A solid one.

Varía mucho de lote en lote así que es difícil de describir. Es una saison muy particular. Aroma a levadura, floral y cítrico, muy seca y con una acidez muy pronunciada que le da un perfil "sour". Compleja y deliciosa.

Draft at Ei8ht Ball, served in a flight. Jumped at the chance to include this one because their bottles are always so expensive. Pours a lightly cloudy amber color with a small white head that settles into a tiny ring. Lots of sour fruits lead the way here - plum, nectarine, tart cherries - with brown sugar, oak, balsamic vinegar, and sour candy. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sour mouthfeel. Drinks kind of like a sour brown. Good.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours hazy straw with frothy, off-white head. Nose is hopcitrus, some yeasty funk, acidity. Tastes hoppy, citric, spicy, with some funky yeast and fruit late.

Huge ’saison’ aroma in a hazy straw pour. Lovely fruity taste is strong to start but recedes quickly - leaving one wanting another! Different than the regular saison - but in a brilliant way.

From a snazzy flip top bottle. Orange, lightly hazy, nice white head. Smells like tart fruit, wine, some oak. Taste is lemony and cherry, white wine, some funky, rustic flavors, and some woody notes. Tasty...
