On tap at Blue monk. Hazy orange pour with a white head that is a bit creamy. Aroma is tart and bright with some spice. Starts tart up front, moves into some hay and yeast, into a nice slow bitter finish and after taste. Really smooth mouth feel throughout.

Draft at Blue Monk. Lightly clouded blonde pour, white head. Floral aroma, sour lemon, strawberry, pineapple mango notes. Tart sour lemon, sour patch kids, funky yeast, lemon peel and pith. Wonderful beer

Unclear matt medium orange colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, moderate citrus, citrus peel, moderate yeasty, spicy yeast, leather notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus peel, yeasty, funk - funky. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. NICE ;O) [20130223]

On draft a Pizzeria Paradiso in Old Town, Alexandria, VA. Pours a cloudy dark gold with an off white head. Muted citrus and sour lemon flavors. Quite refreshing

On tap at The Trappist. Pours golden with a thick white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a very mellow gueuze-like flavor with a dry finish.

This one poured a slightly hazy golden color. There was a good sized white head on it that left some lacing. This one has a complex nose. Grassy, earthy, spicy, yeasty, floral, some lemon. It has an equally good taste. I like the little kick of bitterness in there. A bit of citrus and slight piny hops, earthiness, coriander, This is a very nice brew.

Orange, white head. Nose is tart, funk, vinous. Taste is white wine, honey, vinous, not as tart as nose would suggest. Tart, dry finish.

Tap at Kickbacks. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a steady fizzy white head. Nose is dry, light grass, lightly funky, oak, bready malt, brett. Flavor is similar, quite funky and bretty, light oak. Really nice saison and one of the better BFM beers I have had of recent. Thanks for alerting me to this, GT.

2/26/13. On tap at Kickback’s. Thanks, Steve! Hazy orange pour with a small frothy khaki head that fades to a ring and barely laces. Nice sour aroma with sweet vinegar and lots of acidic citrus. Tart flavor with a bit of funk and wood, some sweet and sour cherries, and lingering dryness that begs for another sip. Nice! More RBWG people should have rated this!
