4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at Rustico in Alexandria. Served in a stange.
Pours a fairly-hazy golden-peach color with a thin, bubbly white head that feel somewhat quickly into a lasting thin collar atop the beer.
The nose started with some light stone fruits beside some light grain and straw. As it warmed, there was a bit of light spice and mild tropical fruit. Along with the slight acidity, the fruits gave off a bit of a kiwi and pineapple impression. Flavor was even better with the acidity picking up and really carrying the flavors through. Beautiful fruit and strong along with a touch of backing pepper and yeasty spice.
Body was light and crisp, really popping. It was incredibly difficult to put this one down. Ultra delicious and one of the best saisons that I’ve ever had.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
Dill-like herbs ride fruity tartness in this funky yet somewhat charming rustic brew.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the cloudy blond.
-Palate feels natural and is rather comfortable too.
-The acetic acidity takes some getting used to.
-Hard to believe there are no actual herbs or spices used in this one (as the commercial deScription claims).

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This cloudy gold colored beer has a slightly sour aroma and slightly wheaty flavor and mild spicy note which is very subtle. I really like the sour it isn't too strong but not too boring.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A very interesting, slightly tart saison. Pours a cloudy orange with a white head. Smells amazing, herbs and berries and green apples. Taste is a bit tart, with green apples, grapes and berries. Had on tap at 0L bottleshop.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft into a tulip. Served goddamn ice cold such that I can’t smell or taste it.
3.25 A: Well hazed yellow brown color. Came with a short frothy head.
3.75 S: Pleasantly lactic tanginess. Grassy hay, apple orchard, dry-rot wood. Some barnyard funk with a neutral wheat.
3.75 T: Similar to nose, but less acidic. Slight astringent finish.
3.25 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Feels somewhat dead on the tongue.
3.5 D: It’s decent, but overrated based on the reviews.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Hazy gold with a thin white head. The aroma is floral and a hint of barnyard. The flavor includes some citrus and spices as well. It finishes a little on the bitter side.

Bottle shared, thanks Juan! Lovely flamed pear tart character, some earthy and floral notes very smooth and dry on the finish. Excellent stuff, would love to degustate this one again.

It pours light golden with a slight orange tinge to the color. It has a large white head. It has a high fruit aroma with some sour and clove like elements to it. It has a combination of a high fruit flavor with a sour kick. The hop flavors are spicy which provides a good balance between the fruit and sour flavors. It feels moderate, but on the low side. It has a dry finish with a high amount of carbonation.
