3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared by moejuck, I think. Pours a dark amber color with a thin beige colored head. Aroma is oak, alcohol, vineous. Flavor is blast of alcohol reminiscient of grappa, vineous, oak, spice. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished super hot. Decent stuff if you can get past the alcohol, definitely gets in the way of enjoying this one. Not good.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer pours a purplish reddish color with a soapy white head and small amounts of lacing. The aroma on this beer is just overwhelming, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Red wine, grapes, whiskey, brown sugar and wood. The flavor is a masturbatory explosion of awesomeness in the mouth. Port wine, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, blackberries, raisins and brown sugar. Carbonation levels are generally solid but not overwhelming. Tart and sweet finish with grapes predominating.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had this awhile back, but have not entered it until now, one less backlog rating! Nice funky barnyard like aroma with a good dose of dark and ripe fruits like cherries, plums, strawberry, and some grape. Very deep flavors with a nice touck of oak, alcohol, and tannins, as well as a little bit of almost honeyed sweetness.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Courtesy Bu11seye. Color is a deep mahogony brown with a delicate and dainty head. Aroma is perhaps the most complex to date. Aromas of dark fruits (notably cherries and black plums), chocolate, the vinous quality is intoxicating. I could smell this non stop. Flavor is as complex as you will ever encounter. I cannot fathom what is going on. The sour blast is wonderfull delicous. Ammazing.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
DRAFT pours dark hazy red with decent retention. Aroma is sweet malt vinegar, caramel, brett barnyard funk, lactic sourness, cherries, red wine tannin, mustiness, some pie notes developing. Taste is vinuous musty French red wine, dry Chardonnay complexity, caramel malt vinegar, brettanomyces, cherries. Not even a hint of a hint of 10%+ abv. Body is light, highly frothy, active carbonation, funky musty dry finish. Endlessly complex and ingenious brew Overall, you don’t get the opportunity to try a 7 year old masterpiece like this every day... . Even less often is the occasion you get to drink this beer and the bartender forgets to charge you $9 for the glass, which is what happened to me! This is one of the best beers I’ve ever had and by far the best old sour I’ve had yet.

Bottle@Dr.Bills Poured brown and cloudy with a think bubbly head that lasted. Light sour aroma. Tasted sour, yet was smooth. Worth trying.

Pours an orangy-brown with a small tannish head. Hints of wood present. A little sour with hints of green apples. A good solid beer.
