Gives a great appearance, the color is deep rich copper is beige thick bubbles and a lively head, taste is fruity is some definitive sourness. Alcohol is hidden real well.

The aroma has lots of nice fruit and spice with brown sugar and a touch of basement. The appearance is deep amber with a large head. The flavor is sour and unappealing. The palate is thin. Overall this is disappointing.

Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, tupalev, jerc & garthicus -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a deep orange-ruby with an average size diminishing tan head. Sweet, funky yeast aroma with tart fruit, oak and spices. Flavour’s yeasty and fruity along with caramel malt, some hops, wood and light spices -- quite nice! Dry, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Excellent, a very enjoyable beer.

2008-08-15.Ruddy amber brown body with a good sized beige head. (3+) Musty funky aroma, light sour cherries. Sourness in the flavour is modes but pervasive, malt core, sour alcoholic kick in the finish. Average palate, lightly carbonated. Decent but I don’t love it, probably suffered from following up some heavy hitters though. 2006 vintage bottle shared by HogTownHarry

"The first time I saw Britney Spears I was at a hotel in Bangkok... and thats all I want to tell about that." - Garthicus

Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, garthicus and GregClow. Cloudy deep amber, average creamy beige head. Dry spicy/funky aroma, slight tart fruit malt - nice! Taste - also quite dry and funky, spice and malt, long bitter finish. Average body, dry and astringent - really solid.

What a great sour beer, made all the better by getting a chance to share it with jrob. A red-brown brew with a rather large tannish head (might have been my pour). Flavor is enjoyably sour, but balanced nicely with just the right amount of tart, and the fruit notes adding complex subtleties that were probably a bit beyond my developing palate. Just a lovely beer, and ridiculously drinkable.

Congrats to AtlAggie for opening this. Glad to celebrate you finishing the bar exam. Poured a reddish brown color with a thin tan head that disspiates pretty quickly. Pleasantly sour with an enjoyably fruity flavor. The fruit is a refreshing cherry and plum combo. Aroma is yeasty and a little earthy. Finish is slightly sweet and touches a lot of different places of your palate. Very nice, complex, all around drink.

Had at seattle international beer festival. Pours hazy brown with tons of floaties that looks gross. Slightly tan bubbly head. Aroma is slight tart bread. Flavor tart but not too tart pineapple. Nice mellow sour.
