Overall an amazing beer I am very glad I could try. One of the most complex things I have ever tasted. Sweet like a great oak aged beer yet still very sour and tart.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 hopscotch (8212) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Bottle... Tower of Power Sour Hour 2011... Hazy amber ale with no head. The bouquet is both acidic and acetic, providing interwoven notes of sour cherries, oak and caramel with a small splash of red wine vinegar. Medium to full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and busy carbonation. The tart, malty flavor mirrors the nose, providing additional notes of crusted port and dry sherry. Finishes malty and tart with lingering caramel and dry red wine.

Bottled at Big Beers and Barley Wines. Fairly straight forward sour. Very tart, almost astringent. Nice wine notes that lead to the dry finish.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 bluejacket74 (989) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2012
750 ml bottle, 2009 vintage. Served in a Unibroue tulip, the beer pours a reddish/brown color with a very thin light tan head that fizzed away immediately. There’s a small amount of lacing. The aroma is nice and tart, it smells like vinegar, red wine, oak, tart cherries and some plums. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, but with the addition of some lemon. Mouthfeel/body is medium, with low/moderate carbonation. I think this is a good overall brew, but I wouldn’t buy it again anytime soon because it’s pricey ($22.99 a bottle). With that being said, it’s worth trying if you’ve never had it before.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Wittales (435) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 26, 2012
Appearance was clear honey caramel with rocky diminishing tiny white head, no lacing. Aromas are sweet toasty malt, then citrus, pinot grape, herbs, spice, wood of oak with tarty tannin red wine, mild alcohol present. Taste was port-like, pinot wine, plum, cherry, red tarty wine, oak, spicey herbal hops. Palate was smooth prickly CO2 with meduim body, long woody sour dryish warming finish. Sourness abound...
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 tkrjukoff (3359) - SWEDEN - AUG 18, 2012
Magnum bottle @ MMP. Darn already pretty loaded and Victor pops this baby, on it then, no excuses. Pours cloudy darker amber with a minimal off white head. Aroma is subtile fruity sour acidy malty; clean and excellent. Flavor is sour dryish yet fruity sweetness pungent a bit acetone bitter and astringent. Finishes sour sweet fruity bitter and malty.
